10 Reasons Why You Should Start and Run Your Business
#Business
Hey!
Research has shown that 95 percent of the wealth is being controlled by 5 percent of these businessmen, who had worked so hard, took a calculated risk, and invested heavily in viable ventures or businesses. So, what is the implication of this assertion?
It simply means that the people that enjoy the large chunk of 95 percent of wealth around the globe are the business owners and investors. Invariably, 95 percent of employees who work for the business owners only take 5 percent of the wealth. This is so ridiculous. Having said this, you need not a pundit to tell you that starting up your own business pays off.
The business owners and entrepreneurs rake in tremendous passive income for themselves, and they own a system that people work for them. You see what I mean- money works for them. It is not the other way round, where employees have to work for the money.
In today’s blog post, I’m going to delve into many cogent reasons why you should sack your boss and start your personal business, in order for you to join the clique of a small fraction of individual, who does not only enjoy but also in control of the wealth. If you really want to know these reasons, just sit tight - so let’s rock and roll.
1. Financial Freedom
How pleasant and sweet life will be, if only you have all the money that you need to take care of your responsibilities that are kept on piling up and increasing every day. You need not worry about where you will borrow money to pay rent, settle other bills, and to maintain your home if you have an investment.
The only pathway to enjoy your financial freedom is when you start off your business. You don’t have to start it a big but small business that is sustainable, where it can be started in a small office, even at your home and before you know it, your business will grow exponentially. Of course, this will translate into plenty of money.
2. You become a Boss
Are you seriously sick of your manager giving you a hard time in a job you loathe? Are you thinking of quitting your job and starting your own thing but not sure if it’s the right decision?
If you start up your own business, the only person you have to answer to is yourself. Being your own boss gives you the freedom to do things your way and implement your own plans.
I’m not saying that it is a must that you have to be an entrepreneur. But if you feel it in your blood and feel the itch to start your own thing, why not call a shot? The reward is not just the money that most early-stage entrepreneurs don’t have. In fact, most businesses fail. But why am I still encouraging you to start your own thing is that you will smile at last, when your business succeeds or flourish.
3 Easy Work
Surely this is one of the main reasons why people start their own thing. Nothing feels as exciting as following one’s passion and dreams. You might have a few sleepless nights because reality keeps you up with excitement — thinking about different ideas and strategy, stalking your competitors, and dreaming about the possible dream-come-true.
Even during down times not making any sales, you’re still motivated to go to work, fix the bugs, pump up the sales, and make it happen. Because the business is yours and yours only. You’re not working for somebody else, so work hard and make it happen. The reward will be worth it.
In one word, you work with ease without somebody putting undue or unnecessary pressure on you. In fact, you can work from anywhere. Work from home, an office or a beach if you so choose
4. Spare Time
Once you start up your business, you will enjoy air of freedom. For this, you will have spare time to do other things you have in your plans. Unlike you are working for a company, they own you and your time. You have to finish your routine work or clear your table before you close for the day.
Another thing is that you can’t absent from back, or go anywhere without express written permission. But you as a business owner, you are your own boss, you can decide on the number of trips you can embark in a month, or in a year without being queried.
More spare time (eventually). Spend more time with your family and friends.
5. Get Creative
Getting creative is one of the reasons why you should start your business. If you have considered flying solo or going it alone, you will have thought out how you would do things your way.
Create something from scratch. Watch your organization grow from start to finish.
Being an entrepreneur gives you the freedom to express yourself and develop your concept in any way you choose. Of course, there are always financial constraints, but the ability to be as creative as you like is far more appealing than a one-dimensional job.
6. You Will Have Something to Pass Unto Next Generation
Show me any rich business owner or entrepreneur that his children are wallowing in poverty. Can Bill Gates children ever be poor in this life? It is impossible to see or witness a situation whereby wealthy entrepreneurs will not transfer their wealth to their children.
One of the beautiful things about wealth creation is that wealthy business owners transfer their wealth (as a will) to the next generation. It could be from a wealthy father to a son and from the son to the grandson. That circle continues.
In a situation whereby you have not inherited any wealth from your father and you can’t or unable to create your own wealth, then what will you pass over unto the next generation? If nothing, they will hate you with passion and have resentment for you.
My candid advocacy is that leave something behind. Pass the business down to your children and grandchildren.
7.You will overcome Fears and Become More Daring.
Given the fact that start a business can scare off a newbie entrepreneur in doing or running a business without wealthy parents backing them up. You have to believe in yourself and make daring decisions over and over. From deciding that you will not get a full-time job to investing in the business and making several business decisions on your own.
Becoming an entrepreneur you will get rid of your self-limiting belief like never before. You will learn that nothing is to be scared of. You will learn that your comfort zone keeps expanding every time you get out of your comfort zone. You will learn to initiate contacts and approach people.
You will learn to make things happen and even if you have no idea about something, you will learn about it in every way you can without a doubt and without fear. Over and over, this becomes a habit. You will have built this boldness in you and will become used to getting out of your comfort zone.
8.You can have a second career
It was reported that during the last economy melt-down that hit the whole world, a lot of people lost their jobs as a result of lay-off and redundancy. There is nothing as bad and frustrating as when receiving a letter of separation from your working place and there is no other job for you or something to fail back on.
Of course, if you don’t fancy giving up a regular income, you can always get the best of both worlds and stay as an employee while running your own small firm.
Although juggling the two can be tricky, having a successful sideline should be a very profitable option. Do something that you are interested in and go for it.
9.Your Big Dream Can Be Materialized
Have you ever dreamed to become a business tycoon? Reach your dreams. If you’ve ever dreamed of being wildly successful, this is your chance.
You may feel that starting up a small business won’t lead to anything more than having your own desk and taking on a few extra staff so you can open that branch in Bracknell that you always planned. However, it is possible to make it really big – just look at the late Anita Roddick, who became a Dame thanks to her entrepreneurial achievements.
She started a small shop in Brighton on a shoestring in the 1970s. Before long, she had a chain of Body Shop stores across the UK and was launching her concept in the USA. So, if you dream of being the next Richard Branson, don’t dismiss it at a mere fantasy – it really could happen.
10.You will Fast-track Your Learning Process
Gaining entrepreneurial experience and eventually being an entrepreneur makes you a better Professional in almost any position.
One of the things you will learn when starting your own business is learning. Being an employee, you learn about your role and your industry. However, being your own boss, you have to learn everything — from marketing to accounting, operations, and finance.
You will have to keep up-to-date with the new technology, tools, consumer trends, and industry news. You will learn like never before, and before you know it, you will become a lifelong learner who loves the challenge of learning about something new.
You will take life as a progressive journey as you do with business. There is no better way to accelerate your learning curve like starting your own thing.
Are you scared that you might not be able to live up to your own expectations? If you want to become an entrepreneur, there’s nothing really holding you back. Take the leap, and lead the company you’ve always wanted.
There’s nothing stopping you. What’s really keeping you from being an entrepreneur? Of course, there are risks, but there’s nothing forcing you not to take them.
To your business success!
