 1. Make a Video
 It seems obvious but taking this vital first action is what prevents many businesses from taking the leap into online Video. Before you can distribute a video, you need to make one, and it’s not difficult to accomplish. I use my iPhone as a camera. I have a small adapter, which allows me to attach it to a tripod, and an inexpensive clip/lapel microphone to record good quality sound. 

A small lighting kit can be useful too, and these can be picked up on Amazon for less than $200. If all this seems daunting, just call in a professional. It really doesn’t need to be prohibitively expensive or complicated. 

 2. Post Your Video to Multiple Video Hosting Sites
 You can upload your video for YouTube or any number of other video sharing sites. Be sure to use the ‘optimization’ tools on these sites to make your video more attractive and searchable. There are several options for adding captions within the video and including searchable ‘Keywords’ and ‘Tags’ that enable people to find you quickly and easily. You can even capture a link and include it in an Email or electronic Newsletter to expand your reach. 

 3. Get Back-links & More Traffic
 That’s not all. Post your videos to your website or Blog and promote them on all your Social Media networks. This will help increase your ranking on the search engines and boost traffic to your business. And more traffic means more customers, and more customers means more sales.
