How E-book Can Drive Traffic To Your Money-Making Website
#Writer's life
Hey,
Are
you a good writer that can write an interesting book? Do you know that you can make money as a writer
without ever getting a client?
Someone might ask is
it a dream or hype? It’s neither of these. You can make money writing before
getting your first client by setting up a Money-Making Website.
In today’s blog post,
we’ll be looking at one of the ways of supporting your Money-Making Website
that really appeals to me, which is writing of an e-book.
Why write an e-book?
The absolute best
reason for writing an e-book is to offer it as a free inducement to have
readers visit your website.
The more traffic you
have coming to your website, the more you can sell. And the more money
you make off of Google Ad sense ads.
When you think of
writing an e-book, don't be thinking of a massive 300-pager. E-books can be as
short as two or three pages or as long as you want them.
But if you're going
to be giving them away to attract traffic, you're really looking at books of 5
to 10 pages, maybe a little bit more.

Getting down to the how-to nitty-gritty
Writing an e-book is
easier than you might think. You don't need special software and you don't have
to spend a lot of money … if any. And you're learning all the skills you
need through AWAI on how to write a good e-book.
Thinking on how to
start writing your E-book? Then take the following steps
#1: Choose a Topic and Research It
Start by deciding
what your e-book is about. It should relate to your website and provide
valuable info. Once you settle on a topic, research it thoroughly.
#2: Plan Your Book
Don't simply start
writing when you decide on your topic. Start by figuring out exactly what you
want the reader's biggest takeaway to be. Then outline your topic to make sure
you hit important points.
#3: Decide on Your
Book's Final Format
Before you start
writing, decide on the book's final format. The main three choices are PDF,
EPUB (iBooks and most e-readers), or MOBI (Kindle readers).
The simplest route is
to publish as a PDF document. But if you want to go fancy and use the other formats,
you can get your original document converted through a number of online
resources. Unfortunately, you have to pay for most of them.
#4: Write Your Book
You can use almost
any word processor and easily convert it to a PDF. But don't convert your book
once you finish writing it. First edit, proof, revise, and make sure your book
is perfect. But you're still not quite done.
#5: Add Pizzazz to
Your Book with Illustrations and an Eye-Catching Cover
You don't have to
have illustrations in your book, especially if it's short. But illustrations
break up long copy and make your book more inviting. Find royalty-free
illustrations wherever you can. It's best to add illustrations while you're
still in the word processing stage.
And while your e-book
doesn't really have a cover like a real book does, a cover lends credibility.
Add the cover either before or after you convert the book. The cover design
should look clear and attractive as a small "thumbnail" image,
because that's often how they are viewed on screen.
#6: Convert Your Book
and Put It on Your Website
If you're on a Mac,
you can easily convert to a PDF. And if you're using Pages, you can also export
as an EPUB.
If your version of
Word for Windows doesn't have the built-in capability to convert to PDF, you
can use Open Office, a free, good alternative to Word.
There you have it. It
couldn't be easier to produce a traffic generator for your website. And once
you get used to writing e-books, you can sell them as a great source of passive
income on their own.
Let us know if you've
already written your own e-book … or if you're planning to. I’m looking
forward to hearing from you again.
