A good number of people keep on asking this question. What is the best online business to start or what is the best online business model to follow?  Frankly speaking, it’s a difficult question to answer. You know why?

 Because what may work for another person may not really work for you. People are different. You may not have the skills for 1 model and may have for another. It goes like that and so on.

 But in this post, I'm going share with you a little secret that I found out  when it has to do with online business. The principle thing is to get the knowledge how to do business online first before searching for the models that will eventually work for you.
 
To do justice to the aforementioned question. Here is my answer.

 1. Know the basics

All business models start with knowing the fundamentals. It starts with having a good foundation on what a real online business is. You also need to know what models work and the right mind-set for success. For example a programme like NOBFC prepared by my friend contains this foundational knowledge.

Let’s look at these questions below. If you can answer these questions truthfully by yourself, will give you an insight where you are going. The question of who you are? What you know, and especially what you want to be is paramount important for making money online.

1. What do you know presently?

2. Where do you work?

3. What skills do you want to develop?

4. What do you presently do for a living?

5. What did you study in school?

6. What skills do you acquired from your job?

And so on.

When you answer these questions, you will find something that can direct your steps towards making your money online. Something you can present to others in exchange for cash. And this leads to the most important part of successful online business seen below.

3. What do people want?

Look. No matter what you know or you can do, if people do not demand for the products you are creating or servicing you are rending, then…you can’t make money. This is something you MUST consider for all business models.

This also applies to other business models. The secret is... YOU HAVE TO GIVE PEOPLE WHAT THEY REALLY WANT…!!!!!

 All business models succeed because of the statement above. That's why you should be in profitable niches.

So to recap all I’ve discussed so far, you need to go and get the basics. Do an inventory of what you know, what you want to develop, then get into a business model that caters for what people already want. This may not be the best answer...but it gives you an insight to what you need to know.
