1. Pre-Launch Planning
- Why are you starting your blog? Is it for fun, or for money?
- How are you going to make money with your blog?
- Choose your niche that you will be writing about
- Plan out your blog’s direction over the next 12 months.

2. Mastering Your Niche
- Dissect your chosen niche down to its smallest facet
- Utilize keyword tools to see what people are searching for
- How are other sites in this niche are making money with their sites?
- Find a mentor to guide you along the way (this has a huge impact).

3. Going Live with Your Blog
- Choose a domain name that fits your brand and topic well
- Go live with your blog using a quality web host and using
Wordpress
- Install all necessary themes and plugins to compliment your site
- Setup Google Analytics to monitor site traffic.

4. Creating Your Blog Content
- Only create content that provides value and builds your brand
- Use keyword research and niche topics for content creation focus
- Write detailed blog content that has +1000 words and includes images
- Evaluate your competition’s content, and learn to do it better.

5. Establishing Your Brand
- Create a professional looking logo for your site
- Setup social networking pages on sites like Facebook and Twitter
